Music is a huge part of my life, in many different ways. I love music in general.

Since I was about 12 years old, I've played the piano and keyboard. I like almost every type of music, but when it comes to piano, jazz is my forte.

Clarinet came second when I joined the high school band where I learned to march and play classical music. That lasted two years. I still play clarinet from time to time but I wouldn't touch classical music again with a 39½ foot pole.

The drums are my newest interest. Since I saw my cousin's set and witnessed him playing, I've been a hugely inspired percussionist. While I haven't technically studied the art of drumming, I enjoy playing the drums more than any other instrument. A big thanks to my friend, mentor and teacher Steve Fitch.

I perform music locally by myself on with my digital keyboard in addition to with my band, AJ's Jazz Combo. More detailed information coming soon
